Nora Fatehi Turns Street Style Into A Full-Blown Fashion Moment

Nora Fatehi takes streetwear somewhere a little more unexpected with oversized camo cargos, a cropped green jersey and tall red boots. Her look pulls from Y2K, but the styling feels more current than throwback, with layered belts, chains and a pair of curtain bangs bringing their own attitude. It’s relaxed, a little chaotic and very put together at the same time.
The contrast is what gives it its edge. The cargos are oversized and utilitarian, while the cropped jersey keeps the silhouette sharp and the boots bring in a little glamour. It feels like Y2K streetwear filtered through Fatehi’s own wardrobe rather than a head-to-toe throwback. The result is easygoing, but there’s enough attitude in the details to make the whole look feel considered.

Off-duty dressing usually gets reduced to the same formula: oversized hoodie, sneakers, coffee in hand. She clearly had other plans. The tiny green jersey, enormous camo cargos and bright red boots give the look a slightly chaotic energy that feels much closer to the spirit of early-2000s street style.
The Y2K part isn’t just in the clothes either. There’s something about the proportions and styling that feels very of-the-moment for that era—tiny up top, oversized down below, a little too much hardware and absolutely no fear of making the outfit noticeable.
It’s nostalgic without being precious about it. Less “bringing Y2K back” and more “remembering why it was fun in the first place.”

Camo cargos have always had a slightly anti-fashion reputation, they’re associated with utility, military dressing and the kind of practicality that usually has very little to do with looking cute. Which is exactly why their return to streetwear is so interesting.
They’ve become less about function and more about attitude. Wear them oversized, add a tiny top, throw on a ridiculous number of belts and suddenly the same trousers feel deliberately styled rather than merely useful.
Fatehi’s pair leans into that transformation. It let’s the trousers stay a little messy, a little oversized and a little bit too much.

And then there are the red boots. Because if you’re already wearing camo cargos and enough belts to qualify as luggage, why stop there?
The bright red pair changes the whole mood of the outfit. Against all that muted green and brown, they’re impossible to ignore, while the knee-high shape adds a little polish to the otherwise slouchy silhouette.
That contrast is probably my favourite part. The cargos are oversized and slightly chaotic; the boots are sleek, glossy and very much aware that they’re being looked at. It’s a strange combination on paper, but somehow it makes perfect sense together.

There’s a reason this look feels more interesting than your average airport outfit. The proportions are deliberately exaggerated, the colours don’t exactly behave, and the styling has enough personality to keep you looking twice. It feels playful without looking precious, which is probably why it lands well.
The best part is how the outfit doesn’t try to smooth out it’s contradictions. Sporty sits next to glam, oversized sits next to fitted, and the bright boots sit against a muted base. It’s the kind of dressing that makes risk seem less daunting and leaves more room for exploration.
